Hi, I'm Stacey, and I'm a Certified Youth, Parent, Family Coach, Certified Academic Resilience Coach, and Certified Career Discovery Coach.

To be honest, though, the certifications only validate to the outside world what I've been doing for over 40 years: working with young people, listening to them, and meeting them where they are.

Briefly, the story of how I became a life coach for young people: I was working with one of the tweens I tutored and I noticed a dynamic between the young man and his caregivers that caused me to open up a conversation with his mom. As we were talking, she exclaimed, "Oh! I see--you're more than a tutor: you're a kid coach!"

Boom! I knew she'd nailed it. That, indeed, was what I'd been doing my entire adult life! Five days later, I was sitting in my first coaching class to begin my certification process.

I wanted to focus on helping tweens, teens, and YAs develop resilience, so I was thrilled to complete additional certification training through the Youth Coaching Institute. A bonus of that program was further training to help clients with their career discovery process.
